Buddhist Bell and Dorje

Description

Tibetan Bell and Vajra Set are made with bronze. The bell is painted in brown color. Tibetan Buddhism’s major Ritual Tools are the Dorje and bell.

They are utilized in practically every Tibetan ritual ceremony, chanting, and magical operation, and are always kept together to reflect several levels of profound symbolism and meaning.

Dorje and bell, for example, reflect the masculine and feminine principles in the cosmos as well as in an individual’s energy body.

Because these represent the sides of the right and left channels in the body, the Dorje is always held in the right hand and the bell in the left.
