Guide to Tipitaka is Compiled by U KO Lay. The Guide to the Tipitaka is a summary of Burmese Theravada Buddhism’s Pali Buddhist Canonical Scriptures. This is a rare work because it is likely the only material that covers the entire Pali Buddhist Tipitaka in outline.
All of the Buddha’s teachings are contained in the Tipitaka which is divided into three sections: the Soutane Patch, or general discourses; the Vane Patch, or monks and nuns’ moral code; and the Abhidhamma Pitaka, or philosophical teachings. This is an excellent reference book that provides an overview of Pali Buddhist texts.
