Description
Ekajati Statue is made in Nepal by master statue artists. The weight of the statue is 1.154 kg and the size is 20 x 12 x 5cm.
The material used to make this statue is Copper gold plated. One of the most powerful and terrible goddesses in Indo-Tibetan mythology is Ekaja or Ekaja is also known as Mhacna-tr, one of the 21 Taras. She is an acculturation of the Bn goddess of heaven whose right eye was damaged by the tantric master Padmasambhava so that she could more effectively help him subdue Tibetan demons, according to Tibetan tradition.
‘Blue Tara,’ as Ekajati is also known. Along with Rhula and Vajrasdhu, she is often regarded as one of the three main defenders of the Nyingma lineage (Dorje Legpa).
