Covid-19 Emergency

On August 18 the Government of Nepal announced the reimplementation of a one-week lockdown for Kathmandu Valley due to the spread of the coronavirus in the Valley.

The lockdown is to be in effect from midnight August 19 until midnight on Wednesday, August 26. Further decisions will be made on August 26.

The government announced August 10 that the suspension of international and domestic flight service would be extended to August 31.

There is limited cargo flight per week which may cause delays in delivery.

The lockdown started from March 24 and it extended multiple times therefore there is a high probability for this to be modified.
