Description
Buddhist Tingsha from Nepal is handmade with 6*10*10 cm. Tibetan tingsha are miniature cymbals used by Tibetan Buddhist practitioners in prayer and rites.
A leather strap or chain links two cymbals together. When the cymbals are struck together, a clear and high-pitched tone is produced. The typical diameter ranges from 2.5 to 4 inches.
Tingsha are quite thick and have a distinct lengthy ringing tone. Tingsha from the past were fashioned of specific bronze alloys that produce harmonic overtones.
