Gampopa Statue is made in Nepal by master statue artists. The weight of the statue is 0.424 kg and the size is 10 x 10 x 6cm.
The material used to make this statue is Copper. Gampopa is also known as “the Man from Gampo,” was a Kagyu Buddhist teacher, medic, and tantric master who created the Dhagpo Kagyu school. Gampopa was born in the Nyal district of Central Tibet and studied medicine in the Indian, Chinese, and Tibetan medical traditions from an early age.
Later in life, he relocated to the Dakpo region of southern Tibet and was so known as Dakpopa the Dakpo man. His other name Gampopa comes from the region’s proximity to the Gampo Hills.
