Description
Garuda Traditional Statue is made in Nepal by master statue artists. The weight of the statue is 0.21 kg and the size is 9 x 4 x 10cm.
The material used to make this statue is Copper Gold Plated. In both Hindu and Buddhist mythology, Garuda is a big legendary bird or bird-like monster. The constellation Aquila is known as Garuda, and the Brahminy kite is regarded to be Garuda’s current manifestation.
The naga is a race of intelligent serpent- or dragon-like beings that Garuda hunt are their foes. The Garudas at one time caught the nagas by seizing them by their heads; but the nagas learned that by swallowing large stones, they could make themselves too heavy to be carried by the Garudas. Garuda is wearing them out and killing them from exhaustion.
