Parvati statue is made in Nepal by master statue artists. The weight of the statue is 1.012 kg and the size is 14 x 13 x 9cm.
The material used to make this statue is Brass and Stone. Pravati is a name that means “belonging to the mountains,” with Pravat meaning “mountain.” She is King Himavan’s daughter.
Parvati is the goddess of power and is better known as Lord Shiva’s wife or spouse (Shakti). Durga, Kali, Jagadamba, Maha Devi, Tara Chandi, and the Dash Mahavidya are some of her wrathful manifestations. She is Shiva’s second wife, however, she is thought to be the reincarnation of the first Wife Maha Sati who sacrificed herself in the flames when she could no longer bear her father Hiranyakasab’s insult of her husband.
