Cundi is respected in Tngm or East Asian esoteric Buddhism and is less well known in Tibetan Buddhism. Cundi is shown with eighteen arms, each wielding Upaya-related instruments. Her eighteen arms also reflect the eighteen merits of Buddhahood as mentioned in the CundI Dhra Stra’s appendix.
