Brocade

Brocade is a class of richly decorative shuttle-woven fabrics, often made in colored silks and with or without gold and silver threads. Brocades can be made from Silk, Cotton, Rayon, Polyester or metallic synthetic fibers. Brocades often have striking floral, geometric or animal patterns woven into color-intensive backgrounds, sometimes with metallic highlights.
