Ratna Kumar Lamais Nepali Thangka artist from Lalitpur Nepal. He was born in Kavrapalanchowk Nepal. He is married and has two sons.

He has studied +2 in College situated in Kavrapalanchowk and He can speak Nepali, English, Hindi, and a little bit of Chinese.

He learned painting from a very early age from his father. His father was the professional artist. He started his artistic life from the age of 8.

Ratna Kumar Lama is specialized in the Mandalas, Thangka with single deities figure and Jyapo Mandala.

He also provides painting class for other who wants to learn. He spent one hour a day to teach his students.
