The material used to make this statue is Copper. In both Hindu and Buddhist mythology, Garuda is a big legendary bird or bird-like monster. The constellation Aquila is known as Garuda, and the Brahminy kite is regarded to be Garuda’s current manifestation.
The four garuda-kings were also present: Great-Power-Virtue Garuda-King, Great-Body Garuda-King, and Great-Fulfillment Garuda-King. Hundreds of thousands of attendants accompanied Garuda-King and Free-At-Will Garuda-King.
