The material used to make this statue is Brass. Vasudhara is the Buddhist bodhisattva of wealth, prosperity, and abundance, whose name means “stream of gems” in Sanskrit. She is revered in many Buddhist countries and is depicted in Buddhist art and stories.
Her Sanskrit name Vasundhara denotes that she is the progenitor of the eight “bountiful Vasus.” She is related to the Hindu goddess Lakshmi.
