Yeshe Tsogyal, a renowned Tibetan tantric Buddhist master and yogini who founded multiple Tibetan lineages of the Vajrayana practice of Chad, was reincarnated as Machig Labdron.
The chad tradition created by Machig Labdron, according to Nyingma scholar Khenchen Palden Sherab Rinpoche, is “a radical fusion of the Prajnaparamita tradition and tantra guru yoga that ‘cuts’ through the ego.”
