Description
Vasudhara Handmade Statue is made in Nepal by statue artists. Vasudhara, the ‘treasure bearer,’ is a prominent Newar goddess of fertility and prosperity, as well as the wealth-god Jambhala’s wife. She sits on a moon disc, a pink lotus, and a golden treasure vase in the ‘royal comfort’ pose.
Her golden figure glimmers with bright light, and she is stunning and attractive, as young as a sixteen-year-old. Bronze sculptures or painted mandalas frequently feature her as the central figure. She might also appear with her consort, Jambhala the Buddhist God of Riches. Despite his status, she is more popular than him and is the focal figure in many of her own mandalas.
