Description
Buddhist Statue of Indra is made in Nepal by Statue artists. In Hindu mythology, Indra is the King of the Devas and the Lord of Heaven. He is the God of War, Storms, and Rainfall, among other things.
Indra is one of the Rigveda’s most important gods. He is revered as a demiurge who raises the sky, frees dawn (Ushas) from the Vala cave, and slays Vtra all of which are central to the Soma sacrifice. On the other hand, he, like Zeus, engages in a variety of mischief for which he is occasionally punished.
