The material used to make this statue is Partly Gold Plated. Gyaltsab Je was Lama Tsongkhapa’s most famous student. He oversaw the building of Gaden Monastery and was named its second abbot after Tsongkhapa. After Lama Tsongkhapa’s death. He became the Gaden Tripa or keeper of the Gaden Throne and the Gelug tradition’s head.
