Description
Statue of Maha Manjushri is made in Nepal by statue artists. In Mahayana Buddhism, Manjushri is a bodhisattva linked with prajna. A diadem and costly and valuable decorations embellish the statue.
His right hand wields the sword of emptiness wisdom, which he uses to slay ignorance, the source of all suffering. His left hand is holding a lotus flower, on which he has put the book of transcendental wisdom.
