Japa is to be performed by taking boiled rice with ghee and by subduing passions.
Homa must be performed with Honey and Kinshuka.
Tarpan is to be performed after one lakh Japa and ten thousand Homa.

The fourth Goddess described in the Dasha Mahavidya is known as Bhuvaneshwari. She is also known as Adi Shakti, one of the earliest forms of Shakti. Bhuvaneshwari is depicted as a goddess with three eyes, a sign of her complete knowledge of the manifested worlds, very big breasts (all the beings are nurtured and extract the essence of life from Her), and a smiling face.
Bhuvaneshwari Sadhana is done to gain all sorts of worldly pleasures. She is worshipped for progeny, wealth, knowledge and the fortune. The term Mahavidya means “great knowledge” or wisdom. Each of these ten great deities is an outstanding personality of the Divine who bestows or reveals spiritual knowledge.
