Description
Tibetan Handmade Shakyamuni Buddha Statue is made in Nepal by master statue artists. The weight of the statue is 2.45 kg and the size is 25 x 18 x 11cm.
The material used to make this statue is Copper. The Sanskrit word ‘Buddha’ means ‘to have become awoken,’ in the sense of achieving supreme consciousness.’ It’s related to the term ‘Bodhi,’ which means ‘consciousness.’ Gautama’s tranquil and beautiful visage encapsulates a state of compassionate knowledge, an awakened illuminated mind.
This contrasts sharply with many Western notions of outward pride, muscular vigor, and displays of material affluence. Gautama Shakyamuni was born in Lumbini, Nepal, around 563 BCE. He focused on the cardinal Rule of Desire and its connection to hatred.
