The main face of Namgyalma represents compassion, while the right face signifies wisdom and the left face symbolizes power.

Namgyalma is often portrayed sitting on a lotus throne, representing purity and enlightenment. She has eight arms, each holding various symbolic items like a sword, lotus flower, vase, bow and arrow, wheel, bell, jewel, and rope.
