Attendees can join a unique discussion with Oregon State University faculty that will explore the relationship between Buddhism and academic success. This lecture will be offered both in person at classroom 103 on campus and virtually online.
At this panel, John Edwards (Professor of Psychology at Oregon State University), Dee Denver (Professor of Integrative Biology at Oregon State), and Geoff Barstow (Professor of Buddhist Studies at Oregon State) will explore how Buddhism has influenced their academic careers.
They will talk about how Buddhist concepts have impacted their teaching, the research topics they pursue, and the way they conduct their research.
