Charok Lama Rinpoche, recognized as the reincarnation of a revered lama in the Solu Khumbu region of the Himalayas, currently pursues his Geshe Degree at Sera Jey Monastery in Southern India. Initially identified by Lama Zopa Rinpoche at Kopan Monastery in Kathmandu, he has since traveled extensively, teaching in Singapore, Malaysia, New York, Hong Kong, and Nepal. Rinpoche hosts a well-received radio program on Tibetan Buddhist topics in Nepal and is fluent in Tibetan, English, Nepali, Sherpa, and Hindi.
