About Gyurmé Avertin

Gyurmé Avertin began studying Tibetan in 1997. He studied at Langues’O University in Paris, Rangjung Yeshe Institute in Nepal, and Dzongsar shedra in India. An expert translator, he is known for his work on The Gathering of Vidyadharas: Text and Commentaries on the Rigdzin Düpa (Snow Lion, 2017). His deep cultural immersion and linguistic skills enable him to effectively bridge Tibetan Buddhist teachings and Western audiences.
