About Harvard Divinity School

Harvard Divinity School (HDS) is a part of Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Its purpose is to provide education in the study of religion and prepare students for leadership positions in religion, government, and service. It also welcomes students from other Harvard schools who are interested in studying religion. HDS is one of the few non-denominational divinity schools in the United States, along with the University of Chicago Divinity School, Yale Divinity School, Vanderbilt University Divinity School, and Wake Forest University School of Divinity.
