About Teisho
A teisho is a formal Dharma talk given by a Zen teacher, or Sensei, to convey spiritual teachings and insights. It serves as a means to elucidate key aspects of Zen practice, Buddhist philosophy, and personal realization. Unlike casual discussions, a teisho is typically delivered during a meditation retreat or formal Zen gathering, aiming to inspire, challenge, and deepen the understanding of practitioners, guiding them toward greater clarity and enlightenment in their practice.
