Description
Print of Traditional Avalokiteshvara Thangka is now available in 4 different sizes which are printed on a high-quality canvas.
Avalokiteshvara is believed to embody the compassion of all buddhas and is said to be their spoken essence. He is one of the Eight Great Close Sons, usually depicted as white and carrying a lotus.
Tibetans revere him so much that he is sometimes referred to as the patron deity of Tibet. His emanations include King Songtsen Gampo, who is credited with writing the Mani Kabum, a set of teachings and rituals devoted to the deity, as well as the lineages of Dalai Lamas and Karmapas.
