About

Ven. Gyalpo Rinpoche, together with Lama Gyaltsen, established Karma Samten Ling Monastery in 1990, near Swoyambhu, which was previously known as Karma Lekshey Ling Monastery.

Karma Samten Ling Monastery is located at the holy site of Swayambu in Kathmandu.

The Monastery faces the Self-Arisen Stupa that represents the enlightenment heart of Buddha.

Karma Samten Ling Monastery, Kathmandu has developed into a monastic school that provides both secular and religious education for Lamas, known for its intellectual and ethical excellence, it has become prominent in Nepal and worldwide for the heartfelt enthusiasm and commitment.
