About Ajahn Appicchato

Ajahn Appicchato, born in 1964 on the south coast of NSW, was raised there. He worked as a registered nurse and later became an anagarika at Bodhinyana monastery in 1993. 

Following five years as a fully ordained monk, he journeyed to various monasteries in Italy, England, Thailand, New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland. 

In 2008, he came back to Bodhinyana and currently holds the position of the second most senior monk after Ajahn Brahm.
