About Apophatic theology

Apophatic theology, also referred to as negative theology, is a type of theological thought and religious practice that seeks to understand God by negation, expressing only what cannot be said about the perfect goodness of God. It contrasts with cataphatic theology, which uses affirmations and positive statements to describe God. The apophatic tradition is frequently associated with mysticism, which seeks to perceive the divine reality beyond ordinary understanding.
