About Bhante Cunda

Bhante Cunda, born Kim Yee Chan in Malaysia, found Buddhism while working on Christmas Island. Inspired by Ajahn Brahm's teachings, he began visiting Bodhinyana Monastery in Western Australia, eventually becoming a monk in 2008. 

Known for his service and compassion, Bhante Cunda now leads online sessions for the Armadale Meditation Group, teaching meditation online from the monastery to adhere to social distancing regulations. 

He also supports the Buddhist Society of Western Australia (BSWA) in offering free online teachings through divers platforms ensuring widespread access to Dhamma teachings.
