Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa is recognized as the incarnation of Bodhisattva Maitreya. Born in Tibet in 1954, he fled to India at 5, receiving education and ordinations from eminent masters. In 1976, he founded the Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat and later established the Maitreya Institute in 1984. As the Head of Palpung Monastic Seat, he oversees numerous monasteries. A versatile scholar, philosopher, and artist, he continues to transmit the sacred Dharma lineage to disciples worldwide.
