The International Buddhist Association of America (IBAA) traces its roots back to a pivotal meeting at Wat Thai Washington, DC, on August 29, 2015. Led by Ven. Thanat Inthisan and Ven. Subsequent milestones include the filing of Articles of Incorporation on November 9, 2015, and obtaining nonprofit status from the IRS on February 23, 2017. With a mission to promote Buddhism and facilitate spiritual worship, IBAA boasts a diverse leadership representing all three Yanas of Buddhism.
