About Lama Rod Owens

Lama Rod Owens is a renowned author, activist, and authorized Lama in Tibetan Buddhism's Kagyu School. 

He co-founded Bhumisparsha, a Buddhist practice community. 

With a Master's degree in Buddhist Studies from Harvard Divinity School, he focuses on the intersection of spirituality, identity, and social change. 

Lama Rod is known for his books "Love and Rage: The Path of Liberation Through Anger" and "Radical Dharma," which explores race in American Buddhist communities.
