About Natalie Fisk Quli

Natalie Fisk Quli is an expert in the social scientific study of modern Buddhism, with a focus on postcolonialism, transnationalism/translocalism, and Theravada communities in the USA and Sri Lanka.
She is Senior Editor and a member of the Editorial Committee of Pacific World: Journal of the Institute of Buddhist Studies, as well as Assistant Editor of The Pure Land, the journal of the International Association of Shin Buddhist Studies.
Her academic qualifications include a PhD in Cultural & Historical Study of Religions from the Graduate Theological Union, an MA in Buddhist Studies from the same institution, and a BA in Anthropology and Religious Studies from Humboldt State University.
