About Tenzin Tsepal

Venerable Tenzin Tsepal began her meditation journey in the 1970s during high school. Over the years, she honed her practice while working as a dental hygienist and in hospital administration. Her spiritual path led her to the Dharma Friendship Foundation in 1995, where she learned from Venerable Thubten Chodron. In 2001, she received novice ordination as a Buddhist nun from His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Ven. Tsepal dedicated herself to Buddhist studies in Australia and served as a teacher at Chenrezig Institute from 2004 to 2014. She later joined Sravasti Abbey in 2016, where she continues her monastic journey.
