About Thubten Monlam

Venerable Thubten Monlam, a Bhikshuni, embarked on her Dharma journey in 2014 in Carbondale, Colorado. Inspired by teachings on love and compassion, she deepened her practice, eventually joining Sravasti Abbey in 2021. After six years of dedication, she received siksamana ordination followed by bhikshini ordination in Taiwan in March 2024. Engaged in community care and kitchen duties, she also contributes to Dharma dissemination. Committed to bodhisattva ideals, Ven. Monlam seeks personal growth to benefit all sentient beings, finding joy in the Sravasti Abbey community's supportive environment.
