About Thubten Wangdu
Thubten Wangdu, an Austrian monk, embarked on his journey into Tibetan Buddhism in 2012. He completed the rigorous 5-year FPMT Basic Program of Buddhist Philosophy at Nalanda Monastery in France in 2022, followed by a three-month lamrim retreat. Before this, he resided at Tushita Dharamshala, leading meditations during ten-day courses, and guided meditations at Kopan Monastery's November Courses. Ven. Wangdu now shares his wisdom through Dharma talks and meditations at the Austrian FPMT Centre in Vienna. In 2022, he took ordination as a monk at Kopan Monastery under Lama Zopa Rinpoche's guidance. Ven. Thubten Wangdu's dedication to Buddhist practice and his commitment to sharing its teachings make him a cherished guide on the path to spiritual enlightenment.
