About Tsewang Rinpoche
Venerable Tsewang Rinpoche, recognized as the reincarnation of Tsokhang Rinpoche, was born to Serta Rinpoche and Sherab Zangmo. An elder brother to Degyal Rinpoche II, he exhibited a keen intellect and dedication to his studies. He became an expert in the Namkha Khyungdzong tradition, composing extensive annotations and liturgies. Tsewang Rinpoche also established several monasteries and imparted numerous empowerments and teachings. He spent his later years in Tibet, demonstrating profound kindness and achieving parinirvāṇa at Chiu Monastery near Mount Kailash.
