About Tuere Sala

Tuere Sala is a retired prosecuting attorney who has been teaching meditation for over 10 years. 

She is the Guiding Teacher at Seattle Insight Meditation Society and the founding teacher of Capitol Hill Meditation Group. 

Tuere strongly believes that urban meditation can be the key to liberation for modern practitioners and is passionate about bringing the Dharma to nontraditional places. 

She is an advocate for those living with high stress, past trauma, and difficulty sitting still, and she is dedicated to helping others establish and maintain a daily practice.
