Wendy Wood, a psychologist originally from the UK, is currently a Provost Professor of Psychology and Business at the University of Southern California. She has been a faculty member there since 2009 and previously held the position of vice dean of social sciences at the Dornsife College of the same university. Wood's main areas of research focus on habits, behavior change, and the psychology of gender. In October 2019, she published a popular science book titled Good Habits, Bad Habits, which gained recognition by being featured in the Next Big Idea Club and reviewed in the New Yorker.
