 Iconography of Avalokitesvara

Avalokitesvara is the enigmatic figure situated in the middle of the cosmic lotus. His body is entirely white, and he has a single face while wearing a saffron robe.

He is adorned with an antelope skin, representing his deep sympathy for all living creatures. His right hands display the gesture of fearlessness and the gesture of granting boons, while his left hands hold a noose, a string of beads, a trident, a scripture, a white lotus, and a water pot.
