Description
Chenrezig is a one who looks with clean and clear eyes. He is the Tibetan incarnation of Avalokitesvara and is considered to be the protector of Tibet. In the painting, Chenrezig is seen sitting in lotus position, surrounded by flowers and different creatures.
Chenrezig is also known as Avalokitesvara is the great Bodhisattva of compassion in Tibetan Buddhism. The all-seeing Lord with four hands symbolizing immeasurable love, compassion, joy, and equanimity.
