Three Teachings is written by Ven. Tenzin Palmo. Tenzin Palmo’s Retreat, Mahamudra, and Mindfulness Teachings are a joy to read. The teachings, which were transcribed from speeches she gave in Singapore in May 1999 are given in straightforward English with plenty of audience interaction.

Each topic is approached with a sense of comedy, vibrancy, and compassion. She has the rare ability to demonstrate how to incorporate the Dharma into all aspects of our daily lives. Tenzin Palmo was born in London in 1993 and ordained as a Buddhist nun in India in 1964.

Her 12-year retreat in a Himalayan cave, chronicled in the book ‘Cave in the Snow,’ drew widespread attention to the role of women and spirituality in the Buddhist environment.
