Description
Tibetan Om mandala is hand-painted on Cotton Canvas in Kathmandu, Nepal. The size of the mandala is 20 x 20cm. Om is a symbolic representation of the connection between man, the divine, and the universe.
Almost all religions begin with a story of creation by which life is breathed into the Earth. The Om (aum) is considered the sacred breath in Hinduism and Buddhism. Hence, Om is considered to be the most significant sound in meditation on life and spirituality.
The mandala is the painting of Om in Bodhisattva. The Om is arranged in a circular pattern for better focus and concentration.
