Description
Wisdom Develops Samadhi is written by Acariya Maha Boowa and Translated by Acariya Panyavaddho. The breath is used as the objective support of the heart in Anapanasati Bhavana. It comprises knowledge and mindfulness of in and out-breathing.
When first becoming aware of breathing, focus on the sensation of the breath at the nose or palate as appropriate because here is where the breath first makes contact and can be used as a marker point for keeping one’s attention. After doing this until one has mastered it and the in and out breathing has grown finer and finer, one will gradually come to know and grasp the nature of the in and out breathing contact, until it appears that breathing is no longer a problem.
