Jocham Purmo – disciple of Sachen Kunga Nyingpo

Jocham Purmo, also known as Machik Tsetsa, was the first wife and disciple of Sachen Kunga Nyingpo, for whom he may have composed the Yumdonma, a commentary on the core Lamdre text Vajra Verses. After the death of her eldest son, she became a devoted practitioner. According to some sources, she is counted among three female students of Sachen along with Jomo Auma and Jomo Mangchungma.
