Sikyong Penpa Tsering Talks on Law, Ethics and Morality in Latvia
Sikyong Penpa Tsering, along with Representative Sonam Frasi, arrived in Riga, Latvia, after media engagements and meetings with an Estonian Think Tank.
They were warmly welcomed by Janis Skuja, chair of TSG in Latvia.
Sikyong then participated in a public dialogue on ‘Law, Ethics, and Morality’ at the Splendid Palace, hosted by actor Artur Smolyaninov.
The audience, including young children, posed questions covering various topics like heritage preservation, Tibet’s status at the United Nations, and the Tibetan diaspora.
The day concluded with another interview with a Latvian media outlet.
Sikyong is scheduled to meet with members of the media, engage in meetings, and attend a Tibetan film screening followed by a Q&A session at the Riga City Council.
These engagements showcase Sikyong’s efforts to engage with different communities and address diverse issues concerning Tibet and its diaspora.
