The INEB hosted the International Young Bodhisattva Program in Taiwan
The International Network of Engaged Buddhists (INEB) recently hosted its yearly International Young Bodhisattva Program, a two-week immersive educational experience for young activists and leaders with the theme “For Spiritual Resurgence & Social Transformation.”
The program was carried out in partnership with Buddhist Hongshi College in Taiwan and included 25 participants from 13 countries.
The International Network of Engaged Buddhists is an international organization founded in 1989 by Sulak Sivaraksa and a group of Buddhist leaders with the intention of utilizing Buddhist teachings to tackle current social and political issues.
INEB works to create understanding, collaboration, and solidarity between different Buddhist and religious groups, as well as to address global issues such as human rights, conflict resolution, and environmental degradation.
