About Geshe Tashi Dhondup

Geshe Tashi Dhondup hails from a nomadic family in Kham, Tibet, where his spiritual journey began at age 14 in a local monastery. At 17, he embarked on a perilous journey to Nepal for further studies. He pursued Buddhist philosophy in Tibet, India, and Nepal, earning his Geshe degree from Kopan in 2004. For over a decade, Geshe Dhondup served as a teacher and headmaster at Kopan, displaying linguistic prowess in Tibetan, Nepalese, English, Chinese, and Minyak. Presently, he serves as the resident teacher at Thubten Norbu Ling in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
